As I am diving deeper in this rabbit hole — on my fourth bag of beans now (who’s counting), I’m starting to get a more personalized feel for spicy vs grounded coffee. I would’ve scoffed at the idea of a spicy coffee a few weeks ago, but its become a pretty accurate way to describe something like an outsider blend by Nordic Rosters compared to Poli’s blend.

That said I am quite enjoying my 80/20 Arabica/Robusta blend right now. Which is closer to the Italian espresso origins and is what i’ll share with those who come over for an initial coffee tasting.
